FDG takes palces in Bugibba, on the Qwara waterfront, in the Luzzu Conference Center. As a popular tourist resort, Bugibba is home to numerous hotels, pubs, and casinos. Even though today the town is famous for its vibrant night-life, it also conserves a cross-section of the Maltese history from a megalithic temple, through the renaissance St. Paul’s Shipwreck Church, to the 18th-century Elbene Artillery Battery built by the knights of the Order of St. John.
Bugibba, and the Qawra waterfront in particular, has been established as a seaside resort with a plethora of hotels for every preference and budget. The FDG conference will be hosted by the AX Group (owners of the Luzzu Conference Center), which owns a number of hotels in the area (e.g. the nearby 4-star Sunny Coast Resort & Spa and AX Seashells Resort at Suncrest).

For those who are travelling on budget, we can also recommend to check out AirBnB listings in the area, where cheaper single rooms are starting around € 30/night.
